One-quarter of Adults are Candidates for Dentures

Did you know that around one quarter or adults over the age of 65 are missing all of their teeth? Dentures are a common and respectable solution to missing teeth. They are so dependable and natural-looking that you’ve probably spoken to someone with dentures and didn’t even know it. Do you think you might be a good candidate for dentures? To be a good candidate for this restorative treatment you should:

Wish to replace several or all of your teeth. There are alternative solutions available if you wish to replace just one or two teeth.

Have a healthy jawbone. After you lose a tooth, your jawbone will slowly become thin and less able to support a denture-- especially an implant-supported denture.

Be ready to take good care of your dentures at home and with routine cleanings and checkups!

Orthodontic Options

The benefits of orthodontic treatment include a healthier mouth, a more pleasing appearance, and teeth that are more likely to last a lifetime.

How do I know if I need orthodontics?

•  Overjet - when your upper teeth lie too far forward.

•  Underbite - when your lower teeth lie too far forward.

•  Crossbite - a bite that doesn't mesh comfortably.

•  Spacing - gaps or spaces between the teeth.

•  Crowding - when teeth are overlapping or tipped and impossible to floss.

Traditional Braces

When you hear the word braces, you most likely think of those bulky metal brackets with wires. Modern dental brackets are now smaller, less noticeable, and just as effective as the older bulkier ones. They’re easier to keep clean and much more comfortable. The wires are thinner and lighter, producing less stress on the teeth, leading to greater comfort.

Clear Brackets

We also offer clear brackets that tend to be more popular among our adult patients. These brackets are designed to combine conventional orthodontics with discretion. At a quick glance, no one will even realize you are wearing braces.

Invisalign

We’re proud to offer Invisalign clear aligners. Invisalign uses a series of custom made trays to gradually shift your teeth to their ideal positions. These transparent trays fit snugly against your teeth and are removable so you can take them out to eat what you want, brush and floss like normal, and keep your trays fresh and clean.

We specialize in advanced dental care.

Whatever your dental needs, from a complete exam and cleaning to a full-mouth restoration, we deliver exceptional care and results.

Children’s Dentistry

When children visit a dental office for the first time, it marks the beginning of good oral health and habits that will last a lifetime. Healthy smiles can be an enduring part of your child’s development and adulthood. The health and comfort of baby teeth impact eating habits, the shape of their face and smile, and how adult teeth will come in. Having a healthy smile will also impact a child’s confidence in their fundamental years. The main purpose of your child’s first visit is to relax, have some fun, and start building a positive relationship with the dentist. We speak in a kid-friendly language to describe what we’re doing and will work with your child to keep them as comfortable as possible.

What to Expect

At your child’s first appointment we will:

✓  Talk to you and your child. We will explain what we do, the lingo we use, and familiarize your child with some tools. We’re not so scary after all!
✓  We will gently examine your child’s gums, tongue, teeth and overall health. Our exam will uncover any early problem areas so we can give you personalized guidance.
✓  We will demonstrate to your child how they can brush and clean their teeth at home. We would love to answer any questions you or your child have about dental health.
